Medical Safety Officer – Global Consumer Good Company
Location: Switzerland (Relocation Support Available)

Role Summary:


GxPeople Global is partnering with a leading global consumer goods company to identify their next Medical Safety Officer—a highly skilled professional with a strong background in clinical trial safety and pharmacovigilance. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced medical professional to take on a key position ensuring patient safety across pre-market and post-market activities.

Key Responsibilities:


Clinical Trial Safety & Pharmacovigilance
Oversee pre-market clinical trial safety and post-market pharmacovigilance activities.
Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements, including ICH GCP and pharmacovigilance regulations in the US, EU, and Japan.
Contribute to risk management strategies and safety signal detection efforts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support safety evaluations and decision-making.


Regulatory & Compliance Oversight
Act as a subject matter expert in pharmaceutical medicine, clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacovigilance.
Support regulatory submissions and safety reporting processes.
Ensure company-wide adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and international safety standards.


Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with clinical research, regulatory affairs, and quality teams to align safety strategies with business objectives.
Contribute to safety training initiatives and mentor internal stakeholders on pharmacovigilance best practices.


Qualifications & Experience
Medical Doctor (MD) degree preferred or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in clinical trial safety and pharmacovigilance.
Expertise in pharmaceutical medicine, clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, or pharmacovigilance.
Strong knowledge of ICH GCP and global pharmacovigilance standards (US, EU, JP).
Willingness to relocate to Switzerland, with relocation support available.
